The remote region of Northern Kenya is one of the last wild frontiers in Africa. The Northern Rangelands Trust is investing in several significant projects to protect threatened wildlife and habitats, by supporting rural communities across 39 conservancies, to govern wild spaces, lead development projects and build sustainable economies.
A brilliant trust set up to continue Tristan Voorspuy's philanthropic legacy towards protecting Kenya’s wildlife, both flora and fauna, for the future. TVCT fundraises for various projects to combat the ever-increasing pressure on Kenya's wilderness regions and the humans and animals that cohabit them, through providing education, family planning and basic healthcare services.
Our neighbour, Sam Taylor, founded ForRangers to improve the welfare of wildlife rangers on conservancies, to train anti-poaching units and support wildlife conservation efforts across Africa. He raises money through in many ways, including through extreme endurance challenges such as climbing Everest, with all proceeds going towards conservation projects.
