After an initial discussion about your travel plans (the Who? What? When? Where? Why?), we immediately get to work on the How? We look into all of the factors (accommodation availability, weather, wildlife movements, local festivals etc.), and then we provide you with a suggested itinerary and quote, which can be tailored until it fits with your idea of the ultimate travel experience. In order to confirm a trip and secure all of the bookings, we send out a non-refundable deposit invoice (usually 30% of the total, depending on individual suppliers), along with our Booking Form (detailing T's&C's) to complete and sign. The balance payment for a trip is due 10 weeks prior to travel. A few weeks ahead of departure, we send out final travel documents, which include all of the finer details and any tickets or vouchers needed for the trip. All that is left for you to do is pack your bags, make it to the plane on time, and enjoy a trip of a lifetime!
We tie every element of a bespoke travel itinerary together, from accommodation to private transfers, expert guiding and activities, which we then sell to you as a 'package'. We negotiate confidential contractual tour operator rates with our international suppliers, so that we are able to earn commission from the experiences that we offer to our clients. That is how we make our money; we do not apply hefty mark-ups to our trips; we ensure that they are fairly priced. Our knowledge, service and time are the added value in booking through us.
We don't have fixed itineraries, we aren't benefitting from selling a certain number of bed nights at a particular group of hotels, and we aren't taking trips off the shelf and pitching them to you for our own interests. We listen to exactly what you want to experience, we share our top recommendations based entirely on your own dreams, and we tailor each element of a trip to suit you and your family. We are dedicated to exploring our areas of expertise in depth, so that we can advise our clients from our own first-hand experiences, sharing with them the most spectacular regions, hotels, guides and activities that we can personally vouch for.
We disagree with the Godfather on this one: it's not strictly business. Our team is small, our family-owned business founded on a shared passion, and we all work closely together on each enquiry, itinerary and trip execution. We provide a Whatsapp emergency contact number so that our clients can access our support as quickly as possible for anything urgent whilst travelling. We also have agents on the ground in all of our destinations who are available to support our clients locally and in real time.
